AJT30 – GOULD 30A 600V CLASS J TIME DELAY FUSE

The Gould AJT series is a time-delay (dual-element) Class J fuse, meaning it tolerates short-duration overcurrents like motor start-up inrush without nuisance blowing, while still providing fast clearing on dead short-circuits. A standard (fast-acting) Class J fuse does not offer this delay. The AJT30 is therefore better suited to motor, transformer, and capacitor circuits than a fast-acting equivalent.

The Gould brand has transitioned to Mersen (formerly Ferraz Shawmut), and the AJT series continues to be produced under the Mersen name.
