The Gould ATDR2 is a Class CC, 2A, 600V, 100kA interrupting rating time delay fuse. Class CC fuses fit holders specifically designed for the Class CC form factor, including ferrule-style holders from Gould/Ferraz Shawmut, Bussmann, and other major manufacturers rated for Class CC fuses. They are not interchangeable with Class G, H, K, or other ferrule fuse holders — always verify your holder is Class CC rated before installing.

  • Common cross-references: Bussmann FNQ-R-2, Littelfuse CCMR-2 (confirm ratings match your application)
  • Time delay characteristic: Ideal for motor branch circuits and transformer primaries where inrush current must be tolerated

Not sure if your existing holder or panel accepts Class CC fuses? Send us your holder or equipment model and we'll confirm compatibility.

The time delay characteristic allows the ATDR2 to carry temporary overload currents — such as motor starting inrush or transformer magnetizing inrush — for a short period without blowing. This prevents nuisance tripping during normal start-up conditions while still providing fast response to true short-circuit faults. It is commonly specified for motor branch circuits, control transformers, and sensitive equipment where instantaneous-trip fuses would cause repeated unnecessary outages.

The Gould ATDR series has transitioned through several brand changes (Gould → Ferraz Shawmut → Mersen). The ATDR2 may still be available as a current Mersen product, or a direct equivalent may be sourced under a different catalogue number. Yes. A 600V voltage rating is the maximum allowable voltage — the ATDR2 can be safely used in any AC circuit up to 600V, including 120V, 240V, 347V, or 600V systems, provided the ampere rating (2A) and circuit application are appropriate. Always ensure your fuse holder is also rated for the system voltage in use.
