The Gould ATDR6 is a Class CC, 6A 600V time-delay fuse with a 100kA interrupting rating. Class CC fuses require a Class CC fuse holder or fusible disconnect — their rejection feature (smaller body diameter) prevents accidental substitution with lower-rated Class H or K fuses, making them a safer choice for industrial and commercial control circuits.
- Compatible holders: Any UL-listed Class CC fuse holder or fusible disconnect block rated for 600V and ≥ 6A (e.g., Mersen/Gould, Littelfuse, or Eaton Class CC holders).
- Cross-references: The ATDR series is directly cross-referenced with Littelfuse CCMR, Eaton Bussmann FNQ-R, and Mersen ATM Class CC time-delay fuses at the same amperage.
- Typical applications: Motor branch circuit protection, transformer primaries, control circuits, and semiconductor protection where time-delay characteristics are required.

Both are Class CC time-delay fuses from Gould (Mersen), but the ATDR series is rated for 600V with a 100kA interrupting rating, making it suitable for higher-voltage industrial applications. The ATM series is rated for 600V as well but is typically used in smaller, more compact control panel applications. The ATDR6 is a direct replacement in any Class CC holder rated for 600V.
Technically, a non-time-delay Class CC fuse will fit the same holder, but it is not recommended as a replacement. The time-delay feature of the ATDR6 allows it to tolerate brief motor starting inrush currents or temporary overloads without nuisance blowing. Substituting a fast-acting fuse in the same application may result in frequent, unnecessary fuse failures.
The Gould brand is now part of Mersen (formerly Ferraz Shawmut), and the ATDR series remains an active product line. Northern Breaker Group specializes in both current and hard-to-find or obsolete fuses. Whether you need a single replacement or a bulk order for MRO stock, contact us for a quote — we serve customers across Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
