The BA112J-P/Z3 delivers a 277/480V, 3-phase wye secondary from a 600V primary. This makes it ideal for feeding 480V 3-phase motor loads and 277V single-phase lighting circuits simultaneously — a common requirement in Canadian industrial and commercial facilities.
As a general rule, total up the KVA demand of all connected loads (motors, lighting, HVAC, etc.) and add a safety margin of 20–25% for inrush and future growth.
