The Square D BDA140305 is a 1-pole, 30A, 480V plug-in molded-case circuit breaker in the BDA (I-Line) frame. As an I-Line (Phase I) plug-in breaker, it is designed to mount in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards — not standard residential loadcentres. It is not interchangeable with QO or Homeline plug-in breakers. Suitable for commercial and light-industrial distribution applications rated up to 480V AC with an 18kA interrupting rating. Send us your panelboard model and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.
The BDA140305 uses Square D's I-Line plug-in mounting system, so it is designed for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It is not compatible with QO loadcentres or Homeline panels. If you're unsure whether your board accepts I-Line breakers, send us the panelboard model number and we'll confirm the fit.
The Square D BDA I-Line frame has been a long-standing product line, but specific catalogue numbers can be hard to source depending on region and stock levels. Northern Breaker Group specializes in hard-to-find and obsolete breakers — contact one of our Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver counters or request a quote online and we'll locate it for you.
The BDA140305 carries an 18kA interrupting rating at 480V AC. This is suitable for many commercial distribution applications, but you should verify that 18kA meets or exceeds the available fault current at the point of installation. If your system's available short-circuit current exceeds 18kA, a higher-rated breaker will be required — our team can help you find the right option.
