The BDA160901 is a BDA-frame plug-in breaker rated for 347/600V systems, making it suited for Square D commercial and industrial panelboards designed to accept BDA-frame devices (such as certain NQ and NF series enclosures). It is not designed for residential QO or Homeline loadcentres. Since fit depends on your specific panel's bus and frame, we recommend sending us your panelboard model number so we can confirm before you purchase.

Square D's BDA series is an older commercial breaker line and availability through standard distribution channels can be limited. The BDA160901 is rated at 347/600V, which covers Canada's standard 3-phase distribution voltage as well as single-phase 347V branch circuits. While a higher-voltage-rated breaker can generally be applied on a lower-voltage system from a dielectric standpoint, the breaker's interrupting rating (14kA) and trip calibration are engineered for 347/600V service.
