The BDA frame is a commercial/industrial plug-in breaker rated for 347/600V, designed for Square D 600V-class panelboards and switchboards (such as NQ and I-Line compatible enclosures). It is not a fit for residential QO or Homeline loadcentres. If you're unsure whether it suits your specific panel, contact us with your panelboard model and we'll confirm.
The Square D BDA series has largely been superseded by newer Square D MCCB frames. The BDA161103 may be difficult to source through standard distribution channels, but Northern Breaker Group specialises in exactly this kind of hard-to-find and obsolete breaker. Contact us for current availability.
A breaker rated for 347/600V can generally be applied on lower-voltage systems (e.g. 120/208V or 120/240V), as the voltage rating is a maximum. However, always verify the specific interrupting rating and system fault current at the lower voltage, and confirm suitability with your engineer or authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) before installation.
