The BDA34100 uses Square D's I-Line plug-in mounting and is designed for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards that accept the BDA frame series (e.g., NF, NQOD, and similar I-Line distribution equipment). It is a commercial/industrial device and is not interchangeable with QO or Homeline residential loadcentres. Send us your panelboard model and we'll confirm the fit.

The BDA34100 is rated and tested at 480Y/277 V, 18 kA. While the voltage rating is a maximum, using a breaker on a lower-voltage system is generally acceptable from a breaker standpoint, but you should verify the interrupting rating is adequate for the available fault current at your specific voltage and always consult your local electrical authority (CEC) or a licensed electrician before substituting.

Square D's BDA frame has been largely superseded by newer I-Line series, making the BDA34100 increasingly hard to find through standard distribution.
