The BE240H is designed for Siemens/ITE panelboards that use a bolt-on bus configuration, such as EQ, ES, PL, and PN series loadcentres. It is not compatible with Siemens plug-in (QP/QT) panels. If you're unsure of your panel type, send us the model number and we'll confirm compatibility.
A 30 mA trip sensitivity means the breaker will detect and interrupt ground fault currents as low as 30 milliamps — the threshold considered dangerous to personnel. The Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) mandates GFCI protection in locations such as bathrooms, kitchens, garages, and outdoor circuits.
