65kA is a high interrupting capacity suitable for most commercial and many industrial 480/277V distribution systems. However, you should verify the available fault current (AFC) at the point of installation — if your system's AFC exceeds 65kA, a higher-rated breaker will be required. Your electrical engineer or utility can provide the AFC value for your service.
