The BN18G is designed to mount directly to compatible EE Controls contactors in the BN/BN18 series. If you're unsure whether it pairs with your existing contactor, send us the contactor model number and we can confirm fitment before you order.
The 2.8–4 A range is the overload relay's adjustable trip current. You should set it to match your motor's full-load amperage (FLA) as listed on the motor nameplate. For a motor drawing 3.5 A FLA, for example, you would dial the relay to 3.5 A. Always verify the setting against your motor's nameplate and applicable CSA/NEC requirements.
