BQ3B070– SIEMENS 3P70A 240V BOLT ON 10kA BREAKER

The BQ series uses a bolt-on mounting method, where the breaker is physically bolted to the bus bar — common in older or commercial-grade Siemens/ITE panelboards (EQ, ES, PL, PN). The QP series is a plug-in design that snaps onto the bus bar and is used in more recent residential loadcentres. The two mounting styles are not interchangeable, so it's important to confirm which bus type your panel uses before ordering.

The BQ3B070 is rated for 240 V and three poles, making it appropriate as a main or branch breaker for a 240 V single-phase (3-wire) sub-panel feed. It is not rated for 208Y/120 V or 480 V three-phase systems. Always verify your system voltage and available fault current does not exceed the breaker's 10 kA interrupting rating.
