The BQD370 is a molded-case, bolt-on breaker designed for Siemens commercial and industrial panelboards that accept BQD-frame devices. It is not designed for residential loadcentres. Because fit depends on your specific panelboard's buswork and frame-size rating, we recommend sending us your panelboard model number so we can confirm compatibility before you order.

At 14kA at 480V, the BQD370 suits many commercial and light industrial distribution applications where available fault current is at or below that threshold. If your system's available short-circuit current (ASCC) exceeds 14kA, you would need a higher-interrupting-rated breaker. Always verify the ASCC at the point of installation with your engineer or utility to ensure the breaker's rating is adequate for your system.
