    The Siemens BQD6370 is a bolt-on, 3-pole 70A 600V molded-case circuit breaker from the BQD frame series, rated for 14kA short-circuit interrupting capacity. As an MCCB, it is designed to mount in commercial and industrial panelboards and switchboards that accept bolt-on BQD-frame breakers — not residential loadcentres. It is well suited for protecting branch circuits and feeder circuits in manufacturing, utility, and light industrial environments operating at up to 600V AC.

    The BQD is a molded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated up to 600V and designed for commercial and industrial panelboards and switchboards. Siemens QP and BL breakers are residential-grade plug-in or bolt-on breakers rated for 120/240V loadcentres. The BQD6370 is a heavier-duty device and is not interchangeable with residential breaker lines.

    Siemens has phased out portions of the BQD series in favour of newer MCCB lines.
