BQL15 – EATON 1P15A 120V BOLT ON BREAKER

The BQL series uses a bolt-on connection to the bus bar, meaning it is mechanically fastened rather than clipped in like Eaton's plug-in BR or CH breakers. Bolt-on breakers are typically specified in commercial panelboards where a more secure bus connection is required. The BQL15 is not interchangeable with plug-in style breakers even if the amperage matches.

While the BQL15's 15A, 120V, 1-pole rating is common in residential circuits, its bolt-on design means it is intended for panelboards that accept bolt-on breakers — these are more commonly found in light commercial or industrial installations. If your residential panel uses plug-in breakers (such as Eaton BR or CH), the BQL15 would not be the correct replacement.
