BQLT20 – EATON 2020A TANDEM 120V BOLT ON BREAKER

The BQLT20 is designed for Eaton Type-CH panelboards that support bolt-on tandem (twin) breakers. Tandem acceptance is slot-specific and panel-specific — not every CH panel or every slot within a panel is rated for a tandem device. Check your panel's tandem-acceptance chart (usually printed inside the door) or send us your panel model and we'll confirm compatibility for you.

Yes — that's exactly what a tandem breaker is designed for. The BQLT20 fits in a single bolt-on breaker slot while providing two independent 20A / 120V circuits, effectively doubling circuit capacity in that position. However, the slot must be designated as tandem-ready in your panel's load schedule; using a tandem in a non-approved slot is not code-compliant.
