The CEJ3175E is a Federal Pioneer CEJ-frame bolt-on moulded-case circuit breaker rated 175A, 3-pole, 240V, 10kA. As a commercial/industrial MCCB, it is designed to mount in Federal Pioneer (Schneider/FPE) CEJ-compatible panelboards and distribution switchboards — not residential loadcentres. It is well suited to three-phase commercial and light-industrial distribution panels where a bolt-on 175A 3P device is required.
Panel and switchboard compatibility depends on busbar spacing and frame cutout dimensions specific to your installation. Send us your panelboard model and we'll confirm fit before you order.
The CEJ3175E is a Federal Pioneer CEJ-frame bolt-on MCCB intended for Federal Pioneer (FPE/Schneider) CEJ-compatible commercial panelboards and distribution switchboards rated for 240V three-phase service. Because busbar spacing and cutout dimensions must match, we recommend sending us your panelboard model number so we can confirm compatibility before ordering.
Federal Pioneer breakers, including the CEJ-frame series, are considered a legacy/obsolete line and are no longer in active production. Northern Breaker Group specialises in hard-to-find and obsolete breakers exactly like this one. Contact us for current stock availability or to request a quote — we serve customers across Canada from our Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver counters.
The CEJ3175E can serve as either a feeder breaker or, where the panelboard is designed to accept a main breaker of this frame and ampacity, as a main disconnect — provided the 10kA interrupting rating meets or exceeds the available fault current at the point of installation. Always verify the available short-circuit current at the panel with your engineer or electrician to ensure the 10kA rating is sufficient for your application.
