CFD63B250 – SIEMENS 3P250A 600V BOLT ON 100kA BREAKER

The CFD63B250 is a bolt-on MCCB from Siemens' CFD frame series and is designed for commercial and industrial Siemens/ITE panelboards and switchboards that accept CFD-frame bolt-on breakers. It is not intended for residential loadcentres. Because compatibility depends on your panel's frame space, bus rating, and configuration, we recommend sending us your panelboard model so we can confirm the fit before you order.

The 100kA interrupting capacity (IC) means the CFD63B250 can safely interrupt fault currents up to 100,000 amperes at 600V without catastrophic failure. This is a high-fault-current rating suited to commercial and industrial applications where available fault current (AFC) at the panel may be substantial — such as close to a utility transformer or in a large distribution system. Your electrical engineer or authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) will determine the required IC rating based on a short-circuit study of your installation.
