The EDB (Energy Distribution Breaker) is a molded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for commercial and industrial panelboards and switchboards operating at up to 480/277V. Unlike the QO or Homeline plug-in breakers used in residential loadcentres, the EDB is a bolt-on unit built for heavier-duty applications with a higher voltage rating and an 18kA interrupting capacity.
