The EDB frame is a bolt-on MCCB intended for Square D commercial/industrial panelboards such as the NQ and NF series, as well as certain Square D switchboards and distribution panels rated for 480/277V systems. It is not compatible with residential QO or Homeline loadcentres. Send us your panelboard model number and we'll confirm compatibility.
Yes — a breaker rated for 480/277V is fully suitable for use on lower-voltage systems such as 208Y/120V or 240V, provided the panel and wiring are also rated appropriately.
