The EDB36070 is an industrial bolt-on MCCB designed for Square D panelboards and switchboards that accept EDB-frame breakers. It is not intended for residential QO or Homeline loadcentres. Share your panelboard model with us and we'll confirm compatibility.
The EDB36070 carries a 14kA interrupt (short-circuit) rating at 600V. This means it can safely clear fault currents up to 14,000 amps. Always verify that your panel's available fault current does not exceed this rating — if it does, a higher-interrupting-capacity breaker will be required to meet Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) requirements.
