The Square D EGB36090 is a bolt-on, molded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) in the Square D EGB frame, rated 90A, 3-pole, 600V AC, 14kA interrupting capacity. As an MCCB, it is designed for installation in commercial and industrial panelboards and switchboards that accept bolt-on EGB-frame breakers — not residential loadcentres.
- Suitable for three-phase distribution panelboards and switchboards rated 600V or higher
- Bolt-on mounting; verify your panelboard's bus rating and breaker-space dimensions before ordering
Send us your panelboard model number and we'll confirm fitment right away.
The EGB36090 carries a 14kA interrupting rating at 600V AC. It is well-suited for commercial and light industrial distribution panelboards and switchboards where available fault current does not exceed 14kA. If your installation has higher available fault current, Square D offers higher-interrupting-capacity frames — contact us and we can help identify the right breaker.
The Square D EGB frame is a legacy MCCB series that can be difficult to source through standard distribution channels. Northern Breaker Group specialises in exactly this type of hard-to-find and obsolete breaker. Contact our Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver counter for current stock availability and lead times.
The EGB36090 can serve as either a feeder breaker or — depending on the panelboard's design — a main breaker, provided the panel is rated for a bolt-on EGB-frame main. Application as a main breaker must comply with CEC (Canadian Electrical Code) requirements for the specific installation. We recommend confirming your panelboard model with us so we can verify the correct application.
