    The ETNH2006B-3 is an Eaton Freedom NEMA heater coil (pack reference H2006B-3) designed for use with Eaton Freedom Series and Definite Purpose overload relays. It provides Standard Trip, Class 20 thermal overload protection across four selectable full-load current ranges:

    • Dial A: 1.79 A
    • Dial B: 2.16 A
    • Dial C: 2.53 A
    • Dial D: 2.90 A

    The H2006B-3 is designed for Eaton Freedom Series NEMA overload relays and compatible Definite Purpose heater packs. The specific relay model determines which heater element you need — send us your relay part number and motor FLA and we'll confirm the correct fit.

    Match the dial position to your motor's full-load amperage (FLA) as listed on the motor nameplate: Dial A = 1.79 A, Dial B = 2.16 A, Dial C = 2.53 A, Dial D = 2.90 A. Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) guidelines require the heater to be set at or nearest to the motor's nameplate FLA for proper overload protection.

    Class 20 refers to the trip time classification — the overload relay will trip within 20 seconds at 600% of the rated current under a locked-rotor condition. Standard Trip (as opposed to fast or slow trip) suits most general-purpose NEMA motor applications. If your motor has a high-inertia load or requires a different trip class, contact us to discuss alternative heater options.
