The Square D FA14060B is a 1-pole, 60A, 277V, 18kA plug-in breaker from Square D's FA (I-Line) frame series, designed for commercial and industrial panelboards — not residential loadcentres. It is compatible with Square D I-Line panelboards that accept plug-in FA-frame breakers, commonly found in commercial distribution and branch-circuit applications.
Because I-Line panelboard configurations vary by vintage and installation, send us your panelboard model and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
The FA frame is a commercial/industrial molded-case breaker from Square D's I-Line series, rated here at 277V with an 18kA interrupting capacity. QO and Homeline breakers are residential-grade plug-in breakers designed for much smaller loadcentres. The FA14060B is intended for commercial panelboards, not home panels.
Square D's FA-frame I-Line series has seen product transitions over the years. If the FA14060B is obsolete or on extended lead time through normal channels, Northern Breaker Group specializes in sourcing hard-to-find and discontinued breakers. Contact our Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver counter for current stock and availability.
The FA14060B is rated for use at up to 277V AC (single-pole), which makes it suitable for 277/480V wye commercial distribution systems — the most common use case for a single-pole 277V breaker. It can generally be applied at lower voltages within its rating, but always verify with your system design and local electrical code (CEC) requirements before installation.
