Canada's standard commercial distribution voltage is 600Y/347V, where 347V is the line-to-neutral voltage. The HEZ2020's 347V single-pole rating means it is purpose-built for protecting branch circuits on these Canadian 600V wye systems — a common requirement in commercial and light industrial buildings across the country. A standard 120/240V residential breaker cannot be substituted in this application.
Cross-brand substitution for bolt-on breakers must be approached carefully — physical dimensions, bolt-on tab configuration, and UL/CSA listing all need to match your panelboard.
