347V is the phase-to-neutral voltage of Canada's standard 600V, 3-phase, 4-wire commercial distribution systems. The HFD1015's 347V rating makes it specifically suited for single-pole branch circuit protection on these systems, which are very common in Canadian commercial and industrial buildings.
The HFD frame series has been phased out by Eaton in favour of newer MCCB lines. Northern Breaker Group specializes in obsolete and hard-to-find breakers, so we maintain stock of legacy Eaton HFD units. Not necessarily — MCCB frames are not universally interchangeable, even at the same amperage. The replacement must match the frame size, voltage rating, interrupting capacity, and mounting style of the original breaker.
