ILSALNS-3/0-38 ILSCO – 3/0 Aluminum Compression Lug

This lug is part of ILSCO's Surecrimp system, which is designed to work with standard indent-style compression tools using the appropriate die set for 3/0 aluminum. Consult the ILSCO spec sheet or your tool manufacturer's die chart to confirm the correct die. Using the wrong die can result in an improper crimp and a failed connection.

The ALNS-3/0-38 is a long-barrel lug without a sight window. While a sight window allows visual confirmation that the conductor is fully inserted, the long barrel on this lug provides ample conductor contact length. To ensure full insertion without a sight window, insert the conductor until it bottoms out in the barrel before crimping — this is standard practice for no-window compression lugs.
