AU-600
SPEC LINK:
The ILSCO AU-600 is a tin-plated aluminum mechanical lug designed for aluminum conductors ranging from #2 AWG to 600 MCM, featuring 2 ports and a 1/2-in. bolt-hole for panel or busbar mounting. Its tin-plated construction helps prevent oxidation and ensures a reliable, low-resistance connection in service entrance, distribution, and feeder termination applications. UL and CSA listed for use in Canada and the US.
Suitable for both residential and commercial/industrial applications where large aluminum conductors must be terminated — including loadcentre neutrals, main lugs, and distribution busbars. Not sure if this lug suits your busbar or panel configuration? Send us your panel model or busbar specs and we'll confirm the fit.
The AU-600 is rated for aluminum conductors (#2 AWG to 600 MCM). It is not dual-rated for copper. If you need a lug compatible with copper or aluminum conductors interchangeably, ILSCO offers dual-rated (AL/CU) lug series — contact our counter staff in Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver and we'll point you to the right part.
The AU-600 uses a 1/2-in. mounting bolt. For precise torque specifications and wire installation torque values, refer to the official ILSCO cut sheet (linked on this page). Following the manufacturer's torque specs is critical for a secure, code-compliant aluminum termination and to prevent connection failures over time.
Yes — the ILSCO AU-600 carries both UL and CSA listings, making it fully approved for use in Canadian electrical installations in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC). Always verify with your local AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) if you have application-specific compliance questions.
