The JDP frame is Square D's J-frame moulded-case breaker series rated for up to 600 V and higher fault-current duties than plug-in residential breakers. The JDP36200 is a bolt-on industrial/commercial MCCB, whereas QO and QDP breakers are plug-in units designed for residential and light-commercial loadcentres. The JDP36200 is the right choice when you need a robust 200 A, 3-pole breaker in a commercial panelboard or switchboard at 600 V.

A 14 kA symmetrical interrupting rating meets the requirements of many commercial and light-industrial distribution points in Canada, particularly on the load side of a larger main breaker where available fault current has been reduced. However, if your service entrance or upstream fault current exceeds 14 kA, you will need a higher-rated breaker.
