The SMP20116 is designed for standard 4" square electrical boxes (also referenced as 52-series boxes). The cover plate mounts flush to close off the box opening. If you're unsure whether it suits your specific box, contact our team with your box model and we'll confirm compatibility.
The 1/2" KO can be removed to allow a 1/2" conduit, fitting, or cable connector to pass through the cover plate — useful when you need to route a conduit or cable entry point directly through the cover rather than through the box itself. If the KO is left intact, the plate functions as a fully blank cover.
