The KORA SMP20126 4″x 2 1/2″ box cover plate is a durable metal solution designed for a single toggle switch. Its robust construction ensures longevity and reliability in various settings. Ideal for both new installations and replacements, this cover plate combines functionality with a sleek design to enhance any electrical setup.
The SMP20126 is designed to fit a standard 4-inch square (4" × 2½") electrical outlet box. It provides a single-gang toggle switch opening, so your switch device mounts directly through the cover plate. If you have an older or non-standard box size, send us the box details and we'll confirm compatibility.
The SMP20126 is a standard metal cover plate intended for dry or damp indoor locations. It is not rated as a weatherproof or in-use cover. For outdoor or wet-location applications, a separately listed weatherproof cover rated for the environment would be required under Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) guidelines.
Yes — the KORA SMP20126 is well-suited as a direct replacement for worn, damaged, or missing metal cover plates on 4" square boxes with a single toggle switch. Just verify that your existing box matches the 4" × 2½" footprint. Contact our team at any of our Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver counters and we can help confirm it's the right fit before you order.
