The SMP20153 is intended for low voltage applications only — such as data (Cat5e/Cat6 keystone), coaxial cable, telephone, or audio/video wall plates. It is not rated or suitable for line-voltage (120V/240V) wiring or devices.
The MP1S bracket is designed to mount directly to wall studs during new construction or renovation. For retrofit (cut-in) installations into finished drywall, please confirm with our team whether a retrofit-style bracket is the better fit for your application.
The SMP20153 follows standard single gang low voltage bracket dimensions, making it broadly compatible with most standard single gang decorator-style low voltage wall plates and keystones available in Canada.
