Ideal for outdoor and wet locations, this box keeps your connections safe and secure.
Yes. The SPB2008VB is specifically designed for outdoor and wet location applications. The integrated gasket forms a watertight seal between the box and its cover, protecting internal wiring and connections from moisture, rain, and humidity.
The gasket is a compression-style seal fitted to the box to ensure a watertight closure. Like all rubber or foam gaskets exposed to UV and weathering, it should be inspected periodically and replaced if it shows signs of cracking, compression set, or deterioration — especially in harsh Canadian climates. Contact our team if you need a replacement gasket or compatible cover.
