The LI36300 uses Square D's I-Line plug-in mounting system and is designed for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards used in commercial and industrial applications. It is not compatible with Square D QO or Homeline residential loadcentres. If you're unsure whether your panel accepts I-Line breakers, send us the panel model number and we'll confirm.

The 100kA interrupting capacity (IC) rating means the LI36300 can safely clear a fault current of up to 100,000 amperes without catastrophic failure. This is a critical specification for service-entrance and main-feeder positions in commercial or industrial facilities where available fault current from the utility can be very high. Always verify that the breaker's IC rating meets or exceeds the available fault current at the point of installation — your engineer or authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) can confirm this requirement.
