The NCO15 is a Federal Pioneer NCO-series plug-in (push-in) breaker rated 1-pole, 15A, 120V, 10kA. It is designed to fit Federal Pioneer Stab-Lok panelboards and loadcentres that accept the NCO push-in style breaker. These panels were widely installed in Canadian residential and light-commercial construction and remain common in existing buildings across the country.
Compatibility depends on your specific Stab-Lok panel model and bus configuration. Send us your panel model number and we'll confirm the right fit before you order.
Federal Pioneer discontinued much of its Stab-Lok breaker line, making NCO-series breakers increasingly hard to find through standard supply channels. Northern Breaker Group specialises in obsolete and hard-to-find breakers — contact our Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver counters or request a quote online and we'll check current stock for you.
Federal Pioneer Stab-Lok panels use a proprietary push-in bus design, and the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) requires that replacement breakers be listed and approved for the specific panelboard. Substituting a non-approved breaker from another brand is not code-compliant and can pose a safety risk. We recommend replacing like-for-like with a genuine NCO15 wherever possible.
The 10kA interrupting rating means the NCO15 can safely clear a fault current of up to 10,000 amperes without failing catastrophically. For most Canadian residential services (100A–200A), the available fault current at a branch-circuit breaker is well within this rating, making the NCO15 suitable for typical home and light-commercial applications.
