The Gould NRN60 is a 60A, 250V, Class H one-time (non-renewable) fuse with a 10kA interrupting rating. It fits standard Class H/K fuse holders and disconnects designed for 2-pole, 60A, 250V fusible equipment — commonly found in legacy industrial and commercial installations. It is interchangeable with other 60A 250V Class H one-time fuses from brands such as Bussmann (NON-60), Ferraz Shawmut, and Edison. Note: Class H fuses can physically fit Class K holders, but always verify your holder's rating before substituting. Send us your holder or disconnect model and we'll confirm the right fit.

A Class H one-time fuse like the NRN60 is a single-use device — once it blows, the entire fuse must be replaced. A renewable fuse uses a replaceable link inside a reusable body. The NRN60 can generally be replaced with a renewable Class H fuse of the same 60A/250V rating if your holder supports it, but one-time fuses are often preferred for their consistent, reliable performance and lower cost per unit. We can help you source either type.

The Gould NRN series is considered a legacy/discontinued line, but equivalent Class H one-time fuses are still widely available. Direct cross-references include the Bussmann NON-60, Ferraz Shawmut NON-60, and Edison NON-60 — all 60A, 250V, Class H one-time fuses with the same physical dimensions and ratings. Northern Breaker Group specializes in hard-to-find and obsolete electrical components, so contact us for current stock and availability.

No — the NRN60 is rated for a maximum of 250V and must only be used in circuits and holders rated at 250V or less. Installing a 250V-rated fuse in a 600V application is a serious safety hazard and a code violation under the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC). If your application requires a 600V Class H fuse, you would need a different fuse such as the Gould NRS or equivalent 600V-rated type.
