Yes — Class RK1 and RK5 fuses are dimensionally interchangeable with Class K5 holders (they share the same physical envelope), and they offer a higher 200kA interrupting rating plus better current-limiting performance. If your holder accepts rejection-style fuses, upgrading to a Class RK5 time-delay or RK1 fuse is a common and code-acceptable improvement.
The NRS50 is a one-time (non-time-delay) fuse, which means it can nuisance-trip on motor inrush current. For motor branch-circuit protection per the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), a time-delay fuse (Class RK5 or equivalent) is generally recommended. The NRS50 is better suited for transformer primaries, feeder protection, or non-motor loads at 50A/600V.
