OT200 – GOULD 200A 250V CLASS G TIME DELAY FUSE

The OT200 requires a UL-listed Class G fuse holder rated for at least 200A and 250V AC. Class G holders feature a rejection-style design that only accepts Class G fuses, preventing accidental substitution with a lower-interrupting-rated fuse. Be sure your holder is rated for the 50kA interrupting capacity of this fuse. Contact us if you need help sourcing a compatible holder.

The OT200's time-delay characteristic allows it to ride through brief inrush or startup surges — common with motors, transformers, and capacitive loads — without nuisance blowing. It still responds quickly to sustained overloads and short-circuit faults. For purely resistive loads with no startup surge, a fast-acting Class G fuse may be appropriate instead.
