LSIG stands for Long-time, Short-time, Instantaneous, and Ground-fault protection — four independently adjustable trip functions built into the electronic trip unit. The lug-in / lug-out design means the breaker accepts cable lugs on both the line (input) and load (output) sides, rather than bolting to a bus bar in a loadcentre.
