The TED136100 is a GE 3-pole 100A bolt-in circuit breaker designed for 600V applications. The GE TED and TEY frames are both 600V molded-case breakers but are NOT interchangeable. The TEY series is designed for plug-in mounting in specific GE loadcentres, while the TED136100 is a bolt-in MCCB intended for panelboards and switchboards. Always confirm the mounting style and frame required by your equipment before substituting.
GE's TED-frame MCCB line has seen product transitions over the years. The 14kA interrupting rating is suitable for many commercial and light-industrial distribution applications, but you must verify it meets or exceeds the available fault current (AFC) at the point of installation as required by the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
